We went to the exhibit with Grandpa and Grandma.
There were lots of models to examine.
"The pulleys. The more circles for the pulleys the easier it is to make it go up."
"This one is a hammer. But you don't use your hands, it does it for you!"
"This is a mirror chamber. DaVinci thought you could see people from the past, but it didn't actually work though."
Writing a postcard to send to Dad.
Jack's favorite invention is the Scorpion!
"The Scorpion has a level to pull the stinger up and then let it go and it crashes onto another boat. There's little things so the catapult can't hit the drivers so it can still go on."
"Leonardo how he invented the tank, by studying turtles. And how he built the gliders by studying birds. How he made another kind of glider by studying leaves. He figured things out by studying nature."

Jack, My Sweet Boy ... After seeing the DiVince Exhibit, did it make you feel like YOU could invent things? I sure do think you can. If you want, keep a journal with all your ideas. I think you could be one of the greatest inventors in the WORLD!! (Your idea about the eels eating the garbage, and your idea to put cheese in the crust of your pizza!!) UH!! What GREAT inventions!!!
